Now in its 26th year, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ programme is a globally recognised celebration of entrepreneurial excellence, innovation, and leadership. This year, 102 entrepreneurs have been named regional finalists from across the UK, representing the most inspiring founders and business leaders from five key areas: London, South, Midlands, North, and Scotland.
The programme recognises leaders who are creating long-term value, transforming industries, and making a positive impact on their communities and the economy. Finalists are selected based on criteria such as entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact, all of which are reflected in Jamie’s journey.
Jamie founded Shawton Energy with a clear mission: to make commercial solar projects more accessible, practical, and impactful for UK businesses. Under his leadership, the company has delivered ambitious energy solutions to major clients across manufacturing, logistics, and real estate, helping them reduce carbon emissions, cut operational costs, and invest in sustainable energy infrastructure.
