Jamie Shaw

Managing Director

Jamie is the Managing Director of Shawton and has overseen the growth and success of the business. He has a passion for the energy sector and has spent the last two decades working in this area as well as in structural engineering. He now brings all the expertise he has gained over that period, to the clients he works with at Shawtons.

He is committed to sustainability and is delighted to see the impact that Shawton Energy is now having on its clients and the work being carried out in this area.

Jamie is responsible for managing all aspects of the business and has overall responsibility for all the projects. He provides his expertise and vision in every project that the team delivers and he is always on hand to get involved and offer support. He works closely with the teams to ensure the best possible result for all our clients.

Daniel Stewart

Operations Director

Our Operations Director, Daniel joined us in early 2022 following more than two decades of experience within the engineering & construction industry, designing and managing multi discipline engineering teams and operatives.

Daniel is an extremely competent engineer and manager and has a proven track record in successfully executing projects and programmes, ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards and delivered on time. He has extensive design and project management experience and has worked on projects ranging from small refurbishments to multi-million pound data centres.

Daniel undertakes projects of any value from initial client liaison, concept design, tender, negotiation, full design and build of each project through to completion and handover.

He also conducts project assessments, participates in strategic planning, and leads the connection and collaboration of our team, as well as our network of experts, which help Shawton Energy lead the change towards net zero carbon in the UK.

Robert Wall

Head of Sustainable Private Infrastructure at Lazard

Leading our partnership with Lazard Asset Management, Robert provides more than 20 years of experience growing private market investment portfolios, investing in infrastructure and renewable companies, and delivering major engineering projects.

He has developed investment strategies, grown teams internationally, invested in private infrastructure companies across various sectors, and has been a non-executive director of operating companies in Europe, the UK and Australia. He now brings all of this expertise to Shawton Energy and its client base across the country.

Amy Lymath

General Manager

Our General Manager Amy is responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations are running smoothly and supporting our directors with the strategy for the business whilst also driving growth.

A Media and Communications graduate, Amy ensures projects are running on budget and on time and is the first point of contact for clients and our team.

Carl Peters

Technical Manager

Technical Manager Carl Peters is one of the newest members of the Shawton Energy team, and he brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked with both low and high-voltage electrical systems throughout his career.

Earlier in his career, Carl spent 15 years in the RAF as an Electrical Engineer, including several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and prior to joining Shawton Energy he worked as a Technical Manager for MJ Quinn.

Michelle Young

Technical Creative

In her role, Michelle is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service. She works closely with the rest of the team to ensure that the company runs smoothly and that clients are kept informed of progress on projects.

Michelle holds an HND in Graphic Design and has received additional training in administration and customer service for her role. She is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar energy technology and the latest industry trends.
