Solar Roll Outs

Duncan Bannatyne, Chief Executive and Chairman of The Bannatyne Group

As a business, we’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint and being at the forefront of environmental responsibility in our industry. Solar power generation is a winwin solution for us and aligns perfectly with our sustainability objectives while also providing certainty on the cost of our energy, which is one of our biggest costs.

Simon Benson, Head of Estates, HSL Ltd

Normally negotiations with any landlord can be difficult, however, this proposal was something where everyone benefitted, and we could all walk away happy. The inclusion of PV has increased our enjoyment of the property and has reduced significantly our running costs. Shawton Energy made, what can be contrived as complicated, very straightforward. Their works to our premises were done in both a timely and professional manner. We are very pleased with the result. We thank the landlord for proposing it, and we would happily recommend.

Diane Wells, Panorama Kitchens

Shawton Energy delivered our solar project with expertise and professionalism from start to finish. Their team’s deep industry knowledge gave me confidence from the outset, and they clearly outlined the benefits of the installation.

Despite weather delays, communication was excellent, and we were kept informed at every stage. The contractors were professional, tidied up daily, and ensured we were involved throughout. The drone photography of our installation has been great for showcasing our sustainability efforts, impressing both clients and stakeholders.

The Solar App allows us to track our energy generation in real-time, and it’s rewarding to see our carbon footprint reduction. I highly recommend Shawton Energy—they are a 5-star company in every single aspect.

Alex Knowles, Managing Director of Knowles Logistics

Our experience working with Shawton Energy on our recent rooftop solar project has been outstanding. The team delivered faster than expected, with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency throughout the process. Their professionalism and expertise were clear from the start, as they took the time to understand our challenges and goals. Thanks to Shawton, we’ve already seen the benefits of our solar system, reducing our environmental impact and offering our customers more sustainable supply chain solutions.

Louise Brown, Vice Principal at Wigan & Leigh College

The energy works completed will save us a considerable amount on our electricity bills while enabling us to reach our Net Zero targets. It’s fantastic that we can not only give our students a sustainable future but also provide invaluable teachings from Shawton Energy, potentially creating leading renewable energy experts right in the heart of our college.

Bishop Rawstorne Church of England Academy

It is fantastic that we can now generate our own electricity and that the process went so smoothly from start to finish. Our pupils are learning about the importance of creating a sustainable future and it’s great to see just how much we have reduced our carbon footprint already.

Valley Hydraulics

This project was not without its challenges, but the Shawton team were on hand to make sure that it all happened with minimal disruption and to the deadline that was set. We’re already witnessing the impact that the system is having and this is a major step in our decarbonisation journey.

Alex Knowles, Managing Director of Knowles Logistics

Our experience of working with Shawton Energy on our recent rooftop solar energy project has been exceptional. The team not only delivered the project quicker than we anticipated, but the entire process was seamless and efficient – with minimum downtime and maximum uptime. They gained a deep understanding of both our challenges and our aims from the beginning. Shawton’s professionalism and decades of expertise really shone through on this installation, which made for a very smooth and successful partnership. The benefits of our new solar energy system are already evident. We’re not only able to offset our environmental impact, but we’re able to offer our customers the most sustainable supply chain solutions too.

John Dickson, Hotel Manager at Dakota Eurocentral

Working within the travel and tourism sector provides both a responsibility and an opportunity to be a catalyst for change within the industry. We try our best inside the hotel to be as sustainable as possible, so it makes sense to try our best on the outside with the installation of the new solar-panelled roof. We are very excited about our future aspirations to become more sustainable. This is simply the beginning of our efforts to pave a new dawn within the sector across Scotland and beyond.

This has saved us time and money and will have a significant impact on our business. We’re currently set to embark on a second scheme with Shawton Energy due to the success of the works undertaken so far.
