InkTech
As part of the InkTech Sustainability Plan — aligned with the Paris Agreement and a goal to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 — the organisation recognised the need to take practical steps to reduce both energy costs and carbon emissions. Solar was identified as a strategic solution to support long-term environmental and operational goals.
To enable investment while preserving capital for business growth, InkTech partnered with Shawton Energy to install a rooftop solar system using a fully funded 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
Zero disruption during installation
Optimised solar design
Effective PPA model
The Solution
- 424 high-performance solar panels
- 2 commercial-grade inverters
- Optimised design for maximum self-consumption
- Installation completed within 4 weeks with no disruption to production operations
The PPA model enables InkTech to benefit from low-cost renewable electricity without any upfront capital expenditure, making it a low-risk and high-impact sustainability investment.
