Park Hall Hotel
Rising electricity costs were placing increasing pressure on operational budgets, prompting the business to explore renewable energy solutions as a way to reduce long-term expenditure without impacting guest experience.
To achieve this, Park Hall Hotel partnered with Shawton Energy to install a 201.6 kWp rooftop solar PV system under a fully funded 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This enabled the hotel to benefit from clean onsite energy with no upfront capital investment.
Significant electricity bill reduction
Non-intrusive installation
Fully designed, funded and managed rooftop solar PV project
The Solution
Shawton Energy engineered and delivered the project end-to-end, managing system design, structural validation, G99 grid compliance, and installation. The project was delivered with minimal disruption to hotel operations and will be fully monitored and maintained by Shawton Energy throughout the PPA term.
