Shawton Energy Partners with Inspired Global Cuisine to Deliver 3MWp Solar PPA

Shawton Energy is proud to announce a new partnership with Inspired Global Cuisine (IGC) to deliver a 3MWp rooftop solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on a 25-year term at IGC’s new state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility in Oldham.IGC is a leading UK-based manufacturer producing ready meals, soups, and sauces for both UK and international brands. With sustainability at the core of its operations, the company continues to invest in innovative energy solutions that reduce its environmental impact and strengthen long-term energy resilience.

Supporting IGC’s Sustainability and ESG Commitments

This project forms a key part of IGC’s wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, integrating a large-scale solar PV system to provide clean, renewable electricity directly on-site. The installation will deliver significant reductions in carbon emissions and energy costs, while helping IGC secure long-term price stability and energy independence.
