Project Details
Dakota Hotels Edinburgh
Dakota Edinburgh were looking to reduce their operational costs, as well as their environmental impact, whilst maintaining uninterrupted service for their guests. By continuing our partnership with Dakota Hotels, we provided the with a brand new and tailored solar photovoltaic panel system at their hotel in Edinburgh.
Annual green energy production
Reduced carbon footprint
Minimal disruption during installation
The Process
01 Bespoke Turn-Key Solutions
Given our experience in a wide variety of system sizes, we proposed a 81.77kWp system, designed to meet the specific energy demands at Dakota Edinburgh. Our turn-key solution will maximise the efficiency of the system.
02 Unintrusive Installation Plan
Similarly to our previous system with Dakota and other hotels, we planned our installation process meticulously to ensure the hotel could continue the running of their business throughout, with uninterrupted access and service for both guests and staff. Our skilled team installed the system over a 2 week period.
Could your business benefit from solar energy?
The Result
Dakota Edinburgh now generate 53,065kWh of clean, green energy annually using their own solar system.
Reducing their carbon footprint is important to Dakota Hotels, they are pleased to be saving 15,909kg of carbon emissions annually with their new system.
As the project was self-funded by Dakota Hotels, the return on their investment into the system is expected to be less than 5 years.
