Dakota Hotels Manchester
Dakota Manchester were looking to reduce their environmental impact and operational costs while maintaining uninterrupted service for their guests. They sought a reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy solution. By continuing our partnership with Dakota Hotels, we provided them with a brand-new tailored solar photovoltaic (PV) panel system at their Hotel in the heart of Manchester.
Installed rooftop Solar PV at Dakota Hotels Manchester
Comprehensive solution to maximise the efficiency of the system
Total carbon savings across all 3 hotels to over 84 tonnes
The Process
01 Hotel Energy Goals
Through our experience in larger hotels and smaller retail sites, we proposed a 68.73kWp system designed to meet the unique energy demands of Dakota Manchester. Our comprehensive solution will maximise the efficiency of the system.
02 Unintrusive Installation Plan
Matching our previous Hotel installations, we planned our installation process meticulously to ensure the Hotel could continue the running of their business throughout, with uninterrupted access and services for both guests and staff. Our skilled installation team fitted the system, over a 2-week period.
Could your business benefit from solar energy?
The Result
Dakota Manchester are now able to generate 59,317kWh of clean green energy annually using their own Solar PV System. This is projected to save them £17,795 on their electricity bills in their first year. As reducing their carbon footprint was important to Dakota, they are pleased to be saving 11,848kg of carbon emissions with their new system in Manchester.
This takes their total carbon savings across all 3 hotels to over 84 tonnes. As the project was funded by Dakota Hotels the return on investment is expected to be less than 5 years.
